Grandchildren Such A Blessing

Our first grandchild was a beautiful blonde baby girl. I spent a lot of time with her and she was pretty spoiled by us with gifts, purchasing her clothing so we shopped together also. Our sons in a new field, at training wadges they couldn't afford to much. They could not afford daycare or babysitters to even go out without that help. Going out was not all that often and our granddaughter would spend the night, grandma used to sleep with her as she was in a different place rather than home. She would just talk and talk in bed till I would tell her to go to sleep. We spoiled her for over 10 years before many other grandchildren showed up, then I no longer did this. Every time we would drive somewhere I had my Christian music playing in the vehicle, a cd player. I always let her choose what song to hear and these were her top favorites so I would play them first thing for her.

With the age difference at being 10 when her baby brother was born, she learned even to change diapers and all kinds of things loving having a baby brother. Also being that age I am sure remembers when that particular brother at like 3 or 4 years of age, saw a demon in his closet. Well I went through the same thing with his dad at about the same age, wrote a testimony about it, God saving my childs life. I was called about my grandson and gave direction on what to do to cast out the demon out of the house. I am sure she would remember such a thing but she was in school at this time though. I often wonder if her brother remembers it..he told me that Jesus told him "I got your back". Praise the Lord the battle won for my son and my grandson.

Does The Lord Remember a Childs Soul Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep

I pray the Lord my soul to keep

if I should die before I wake

I pray the Lord my soul to take

(this was followed by saying God Bless then naming each member of the family)

Jesus had a lot to say about children, and with my grandchildren, trained up with the soul prayer just as I was, and meal prayers the same as myself and our sons, you sometimes as they grow older begin to wonder for sure. They like most all children get out into the world on their own and what a change you can see. Yet they remain loving, friendly, and helpful to others. 

Matthew 21:16 (KJV) And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

Mt 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mt 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Unfortunately when we become of age, our walk depends on us. Many who say they are Christians will not even make it we are told. That is one of the hardest truths to accept.

Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

How to Believe For Your Full Families Salvation

For me I feel confident...why? Jesus showed me by His prayer John 17 that I could follow in His footsteps showing us that we can pray out in the future for those that have heard the word through His 2 disciples He prayed for that did write the gospels of Matthew and John. He prayed not only for them but out in the future to all that heard by their words and we still do today. He prayed that we all would be one. So I have prayed out in the future for my bloodline out for generations. So for me I thank Jesus for showing us the way and thank Him that my sons and their families are being taught Jesus.
